Interactive, Dynamic Teaching Approach
At every stage of language acquisition, oral interaction is vital to success; because of this, we limit each class to 2-4 students. Classes are completely interactive with two-way dialogue, unlike larger classes where the teacher does most of the speaking, at EE each student is given ample opportunity to speak.
To promote the natural acquisition and practical usage of English, we provide engaging oral development activities. Students undertake oral tasks and team work requiring both structured and spontaneous use of English. We strive to create opportunities for students to get involved in diverse projects from debating to drama and role-play in order to enrich vocabulary, pronunciation and fluency.
With only 2-4 students in each class, it is easy to ensure that our policy of ‘NO CHINESE PLEASE’ is easily maintained.

HKSMSA Speech Festival Experience
A big thank you to English Excel! Ernest enjoys coming to his classes at English Excel. Over the past five years of
studying at English Excel, his teachers have helped him achieve a very high standard in his English. His oral skills
have proven to be outstanding in his school class. We were also thrilled when Ernest achieved the winner flag at the
HKSMSA speech competition this year, and a distinction in Grade 6 Trinity Speech exams when he was in PS. The
programme at EE enables him to speak more and to develop strong oral skills, which we believe is a real strength of English Excel.
